AH64 Apache

The AH-64 Apache is the Army's primary attack helicopter and is regarded as the most lethal and survivable helicopter in aviation history.  Its main mission is to destroy high-value targets with Hellfire anti-tank missles.  It also employs a 30mm chain gun and 70mm unguided rockets.   Both the AH-64A Apache and AH-64D Apache Longbow are powered by two General Electric T700-GE-701 turboshaft engines.

I designed functional test software and fixturing for board-level functional testing of an Advanced Precision Air Delivery System (APADS) enhancement to the Apache's flight control system.  In addition, the test platform I developed for GE to test flight and engine control power supplies was used to test the APADS power supplies.
